The Controlled Sound® X is constructed of a coated 12-mil film with a 5-mil reverse dot. Featuring 20% more durability and tone control, drummers will experience more controlled mid range tones which is ideal for higher frequency snare drums. The Controlled Sound X is great for live and studio applications.
Controlled Sound® X Coated Bottom Black Dot™ features focused mid-range tones with added durability. Constructed with a single ply of 12 mil Coated film and a 5 mil Bottom Black Dot™, these heads provide heavy duty drum head characteristics. The drum head’s outer area offers enhanced tone and sensitivity while the centre dot adds durability and overtone control.
