- Designed by Blackstar’s world-renowned UK R&D team responsible for the award-winning St. James and HT Venue Series.
- To deliver the natural sounding response of a valve amp, our design team implemented a discrete MOSFET preamp. Overdrive characteristics of MOSFETs are similar to those of valves. The R&D team have gone beyond other manufacturer’s MOSFET designs to deliver a preamp that is virtually indistinguishable from the chosen valve references.
- The overdrive channel is based on our award-winning St. James 6L6 overdrive – a modern British valve overdrive. The clean channel is based on our revered HT-20R MkII clean sound, with lots of headroom that breaks up naturally when pushed hard – great as a pedal platform.
- The cabinet emulated Line output has the tonal characteristics of a mic’d up guitar speaker cab and provides a natural amp tone for recording or headphone use.
- Tested to Blackstar’s rigorous endurance and reliability standards, these amplifiers are built to last.
