include a superb preamp with a built-in, four-position switch: two positions
give you a bass-cut filter (at 75 and 150Hz) with different roll-off slopes,
while another position selects a -10dB pad, added after the input stage of
the microphone, to ensure performance at spec sound pressure levels up to
144dB. Ultra-low self-noise and exceptionally high overload characteristics
allow a dynamic range specification of over 120dB and a specially designed
output stage will drive all types of loads likely to be encountered in
professional work, including using excessively long cables, without any
noticeable signal degradation.
